Solstice Fire Ceremony

Fire ceremonies (Puja) are well-known in almost every religion and culture. Fire ceremonies are held for healing, rites of passage and to mark key events; and often at Full Moon to let go of the past and step into the future.

Fire is cleansing. It clears the old to make way for the new. It connects us to the cycle of life. It connects us to nature as we sit outside, smell the smells, listen to the sounds, feel the textures, taste the air and the smoke, and watch the fire, and our surroundings.

Fire connects us to the air and to the heavens, as we watch the flames flicker with the breeze, the smoke and sparks rise into the air. Sitting by a fire is a mindful, spiritual experience, a time for reflection, pause, and renewal.

With the help of open discussions and space held by the teacher, we will enjoy sacred and magical moments together.

We usually do chanting and singing and make a sharing table of homemade snacks.

If you wish to burn something, feel free to take it with you or just write down negative patterns you wish to release. There will be a special moment for that. Every ceremony starts with an explanation of the process and preparation of the space. Everyone will put their effort to make the space sacred.

What to take:

• Shawl
• Please wear warm clothes
• Chair
• Musical instrument (if you have one)
• Flowers or plants to decorate the space
• Candle (any colour)
• Snacks to share (preferably home made)
• Wooden Logs (if possible)

The event will happen in two languages - Russian and English.

The Precise meeting Location will be sent after registering. There is a possibility to park a car as well.

We invite you to make a Donation of 12.00 GBP to cover wood and other organisational costs.
